Israel Apartheid Week: Antisemitism by Any Other Name
Josh Xiong

In the first week of March this year cities around the world will hold the annual Israel Apartheid Week, or IAW for short. Organized by the Students Against Israeli Apartheid, or SAIA, it is a Molotov cocktail of political intolerance, illiberal personal attacks, and lurking, latent antisemitism.

The purpose of the event is to dupe the general public, especially impressionable students, into thinking that Israel is an apartheid state akin to South Africa before the ANC's triumph in 1994. Never mind that Israel affords all of its Arab citizens equal political and legal rights, something noticeably absent in South Africa. Never mind that access to public institutions, such as education and health care, is granted to all equally. Of course, if one repeats a lie a thousand times, people will recognize it as truth.

Jewish students fight for dignity at York
Orna Hollander

In an attempt to combat the one-sided rhetoric on campus, Zionist groups at York have been working to represent Jewish students. Most recently, Hasbara Fellowships and Betar launched their "Terror built this fence" campaign in order to challenge the false allegation that Israel's security fence along its boundary with the West Bank acts as an apartheid wall.

But What Can I Do About the Crisis Facing Israel and the Jewish People?
Rachel Neuwirth

One very important thing that all of us can do is to counter the endless lies and distortions of Israel's history and character that appear in the press, mass media, on the Internet, and even in scholarly journals. These distortions and outright falsehoods are a major reason why Israel is in such deep trouble, and in danger of "going under." Because the entire world has been led to believe an inaccurate, grossly distorted "narrative" of the conflict, the government of Israel feels it has no choice but to make concessions to the demands of its enemies, in order to appease world opinion. But these concessions imperil Israel's existence.

On the rights of 'settlers'
Shmuel Katz

US Ambassador Richard Jones was recently reported to have asked Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch about the legal status of the 'settlements'.
This is indeed a subject which has long been neglected - or simply ignored. The answer to the question is a simple one, but in view of the obfuscation which has for years gathered around it, it is essential to examine its roots. They lie comfortably in the text of the Mandate for Palestine which was conferred on Britain in 1922 by the League of Nations.

Israel's Grassroots Defenders
Barbara Kay

Countering anti-Israel propaganda is a top priority for Betar-Tagar. The group's message is that democratic Israel's existential battle for survival within a hostile Islamic world is a preview and warning for Western democracies. Good on you, Betar-Tagar.

Support the ones who are doing it right
On a mission to save Zion

A series of hateful, anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic events entitled "Israeli Apartheid Week" took place at the University of Toronto. The organizers of this week repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel in their lectures, as well as spreading incitement and hatred toward the thousands of Jewish students that attend the university.

The students of Betar-Tagar, from universities across Canada, were the only university group to oppose the “Israeli Apartheid Week”.

The Arab Student Collective: Intellectual Dishonesty Rooted in Hate
Doron Berger, Betar-Tagar Executive

For awhile, Jewish students at the University of Toronto, treated the week of January 31st as a special occasion. That is when IsraelFEST takes place. It is a week-long celebration of Israeli culture. But this year, Pro-Palestinians chose to taint the week and score a cheap political point. Otherwise known as "Israel Apartheid Week," the event has been a collection of hatred towards Jews crafted in lies and deceit disguised as facts.

The Demographic Bomb is a Dud!
THE MILLION-AND-A-HALF PERSON GAP
The assumption that Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza pose a demographic threat to Israel has to be radically revised. The 2004 Palestinian-Arab population was closer to 2.4 million than to the 3.8 million reported by Palestinian Authority (PA) officials. These findings should have a significant impact on politicians, policy makers and international aid agencies.

What Really Happened in Jenin?
Image
Size of combat zone in Jenin 'Refugee Camp'

Why Jenin? Jenin is the base for the terrorist infrastructure in the PA. This is known fact to the IDF, because most of the suicide bombers were educated in Jenin, worked in Jenin, trained in Jenin or passed through Jenin in order to receive a blessing before going out to execute a bombing.

Israel is a small country with neighbors who have repeatedly attacked her. Since attempts to negotiate an end to terrorism by diplomatic means have repeatedly failed, Israel is building a fence to physically block terrorists access to it's population.
